第一课 从万分期待到忐忑不安，我终于迎来了在澳洲的第一节课。
第一个小时的tutorial是20人左右的小班授课加讨论，我最不想遇到的事还是发生了——老师来自斯里兰卡，语速又极快，虽然我120%地集中精神想听清楚他在说什么，但最终发觉这是徒劳的，也终于明白为什么基础化学课时我们的黑人同胞面对杨世忠会一脸茫然了。。。幸好有PPT，多亏有PPT。。。
接下来2个小时换成了150人左右的Lecture，老头是澳大利亚人，口音还算清晰，至少属于可以接受的范围呵呵。耳听为虚，眼见为实，前辈们都说得没错，咱中国人真不是一点的多啊。。。如果拍张照片回去，别人真以为是国内哪所大学的外教讲座呢。。。所以，语言，要提高，真不是件容易事。 Initial Experience at Basketball Club The orientation week was over and it comes a sunny Saturday, also my first basketball day in Australia! As tutorials and lectures will commence since next Monday, I'm sure I won't be as free as what I've been these days, so it might be the last chance to play basketball during this semester. Fortunately , a 3 on 3 tournament was held at the school gym and anyone who is a member of the club can join the game for free, so I did it. Unfortunately, guys in other teams are so strong and tall and their skills pretty good,not as I thought and told before that western people don't play basketball. The result was not difficult to guess that we lost all of the 4 games we played, although my teammates played not badly, actually, I felt shameful for what I did in the games, I don't want to be a loser. But over is over, to me, basketball is justone of my hobbies and I just play it for fun. I look forward to meeting some guys who are at the same level with me, hehe. 开学了 昨天是星期日，也是我一周中唯一去市区的一天。自从来到悉尼后我已经没有了看天气预报的习惯了，因为悉尼的天善变，就如同市中心的海德公园是模仿伦敦建造的，天气也似乎在模仿伦敦，所以我出门必带伞。在街上走着走着突然下起了大雨，周围看上去是东方人的大都不慌不忙地从包里拿出伞撑起（当然包括我了），而西方人从十多岁的少年到白发苍苍的老太，丝毫不理会阵阵雨滴，照例行走如常。在东方人眼里，因为悉尼阵雨天多，所以为防被淋湿要把伞带在身边，而在西方人眼里，就因为是阵雨，所以下下总会停的，根本用不着带伞，不知道这样理解对不对呵呵。
记得刚来第一天时我曾有这样的感觉：如果我说我口语第二差的话没人敢说第一差。40多天过去了，有时自己会觉得有了很大的进步，但是这种好不容易建立起来的自信心可能会在瞬间给打灭。就如同今天，开学的第一天，学校里社团摆了很多摊，当看到Basketball Club时我感觉很兴奋，走上去试图询问细节，遗憾是虽然他说的我可以听懂80%，可我想表达自己的水平及要求时发觉不知道怎么说才好，结果终于吐出几句毫无章法的话，汗。。。
学费贵，书费贵，学费不得不交，书想买二手书，可怜电话打过去都卖完了，只得奔向又一吞钱机器—学校书店。一本教科书100澳元，我想砍了学校和出版社，一本书900页，重量达数本华理名书—基础化学，所以我连手都举不起来。。。。。。上帝啊，早点拯救我脱离凶恶吧  |
